FMI Corporation is seeking an administrative professional to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, self-motivated individual with a professional demeanor and a versatile set of administrative skills. This full-time position will support FMI's investment bankers and management consultants and oversee the day-to-day administration of the office. The position will be based in our downtown Houston office.


  • Coordinating multiple internal projects and tasks for a diverse group of professionals
  • Preparing client-facing memoranda, proposals, reports and other deliverables
  • Proofreading, editing and formatting documents
  • Performing project data entry, tracking and reporting
  • Managing and updating contact lists
  • Maintaining electronic data rooms, including granting access, setting permissions and folders, uploading documents and archiving
  • Assisting with FINRA compliance efforts
  • Processing expense reports and invoices
  • Planning meetings and scheduling conference calls
  • Collecting, analyzing and preparing summaries of surveys and client feedback
  • Assisting with qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Performing general office administrative duties, including answering phones, greeting guests, ordering supplies, serving as office liaison to vendors/suppliers and submitting/tracking maintenance requests as needed
  • Performing other administrative duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience in an administrative support role or equivalent position in a professional office environment
  • Strong customer service ethic and dedication to high quality work product
  • Ability to thrive with minimal direction and supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated maturity and the ability to perform both individually and as a team player
  • Excellent proofreading, editing, and formatting skills
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) experience a plus
