Overview

FMI's Management Consulting Group is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, multi-tasking individual who possesses strong administrative and event coordination skills to join its growing team.

 

This is afull-time opportunity based in our Cherry Creek office in Denver, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support to the peer group coordinators 

• Assisting with the coordination of logistics for the peer group programs including hotel, catering and restaurant contracts

• Arranging transportation for program attendees

• Assisting with the tracking of incoming client information submissions

• Compiling program materials and reports, including proofing/editing and logistical details

• Processing client invoices

• Shipping program materials

• Assisting with the formatting and editing of final peer group program minutes

• Performing general office administrative duties as required, including processing expenses and invoices, coordinating consultant calendars, providing front desk overage, scanning documents, faxing, copying, printing and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in business, marketing or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative, event planning or similar role
• Previous experience coordinating corporate programs and meetings
• Proven vendor negotiation skills and experience booking hotels and caterers

• Superior organizational and time management skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize changing needs in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong customer service ethic and dedication to high quality work product

• Ability to work independently and thrive with minimal direction and supervision

• Ability to communicate quickly, and collaborate effectively and efficiently in a team environment

• Ability to learn, utilize and enforce project and department standards, processes and procedures; and to identify and execute process improvements

• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills; high attention to detail required
• Demonstrated maturity, integrity and the ability to perform in an entrepreneurial environment, both individually and as a team player, with people at all levels across the organization

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (i.e., program materials, packing cases, supplies)
• Strong proficiency in MS Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and Outlook; ability to learn new programs quickly

• Previous experience with Salesforce is a plus
